Stardust Obsidian! (also called galaxy obsidian)

discovered in 2023 in Jalisco, Mexico; this is still considered a new new find!
fun fact: the vein they are mining from, is closed for now as they are building houses above it! so we don't know how much is stilll on the market.

She is formed (like all obsidian) due to fast cooling lava. what makes her special are the white spots in layers🖤
Said to be vulcanic ash, but there are also sounds that i might be christobalite (like snowflake obsidian) more testing is still needed.

Obsidian is a well known protector against negative forces. but also a crystal to help you reaching into your own shadowside!
