Smudgestick Alsem / Holy herb

Holy woodis a very old herb that was often used to drive away vermin and insects. It would provide the druid clairvoyance and visions in the time of the Celts and use it as a purification smudge. Just as the Indians used white sage, the Celts and the Germans used mugwort and Holy wood to smudge or hang at the entrance of the hut or stable to drive away evil spirits.
